Russia wants to get into the WTO but their laws regarding copyright currently allow sites like mp3fiesta and mp3sparks to legally (in russia) distribute their music without any of the proffits heading towards the music industry. So basically all these sites offering DRM-free media at $1 per album are getting shut down by the Russian government regardless of their rights, if the site gets shutdown and you have say $40 credit on your account, then its lost. Also i think it is actually illegal for people outside Russia to use these sites, i doubt theres any hardline on the issue currently, since it sits in a grey area.
